The freitagsküche creates situations, in which audiences and artists get the chance to meet and talk in a setting much more casual than at a regular artist talk. While eating together with the artists and crews the distance between audiences and artists can be surpassed and create inspiring, back and forth communication over the table.

Eating together means spending time together. The served meals don't have to be fancy – they are inspired by the artists' and crews' favorite meals and hence get a very personal note.
