6th edition of the KunstFestSpiele Herrenhausen

Under the motto "Gegen den Strich" (Against the Grain), the 2015 festival presented rebels of art from America, China and Europe. The closing weekend included the German premiere of The Blind Poet by Jan Lauwers and the Needcompany and Georg Nussbaumer's Ringlandschaft mit Bierstrom - Ein Wagner-Areal. June 14, with Laurence Cummings and Murnau's Nosferatu , was a brilliant conclusion to the artistic directorship of Elisabeth Schweeger, who over five years established a cross-genre festival format in the Herrenhausen Gardens that bridges the gap between the Baroque and contemporary artistic forms. Again as part of the program, the Akademie der Spiele provided young students with valuable insights into the art scene.
