Pre-sale starts for the KunstFestSpiele 2026

Tickets for all events are now available from the KunstFestSpiele ticket shop, at the box office in the Großer Garten, and at HAZ & NP advance booking offices.

From Friday 22 May to Sunday 7 June 2026, the KunstFestSpiele Herrenhausen in Hanover will host around 100 events and 23 festival productions. Around 700 artists from a wide variety of genres will be involved. The programme includes one first performance and five German premieres.

In 2026, German-Austrian composer Brigitta Muntendorf will take over as the new artistic director of the international festival. In her first edition, she will focus on the interplay of art, technology and science, on international and local collaborations, and on a two-day KinderKunstSpektakel (Children's Art Spectacle). Her programme ranges from musical theatre to club culture, from performances to installations, from dance to hybrid art.
