Workshops for cultural confederates
The KunstFestSpiele Herrenhausen offer a series of workshops accompanying the festival programme. At the Akademie der Spiele, children and young people have the opportunity to engage in unusual ways with artistic worlds. The workshops are led by artists, and take various approaches to the festival productions. Apart from interchange with other young people, there is always a direct encounter with the works through rehearsals and attending performances. Looking over the artists’ shoulders opens up the backgrounds and special features of the performances; the protagonists’ ideas are explained, and the participants become cultural confederates.
Six workshops are offered, addressing different age groups and various interests. Anyone can take part who is interested in following their own creativity through an interchange with artists and other young people.
