The Spiegeltent will open its doors for the first time at this year's edition of KunstFestSpiele Herrenhausen right next to the Orangerie and will be the festival's vivid center. During the entire festival the artist collective of the freitagsküche from Frankfurt will cater to festival guests and garden visitors – in the daytime as a canteen and café, in the night-time it becomes a bar and restaurant. With concerts, DJ-sets, partys and more the Spiegeltent will become the meeting point for all visitors. The club programme is curated by Feinkost Lampe and will bring acts like Hauschka, Carlos Cipa und KUF among others to Hanover.

The freitagsküche will bring art and cooking together inside the Spiegeltent with a very special emphasis on the table talk.On these evenings the audience will get a chance to get in touch and talk to the protagonists of a performance. In a personal and informal atmosphere audiences and artists will encounter over a shared meal.
